Will Karachi Kings miss Mohammad Rizwan?

The wicketkeeping batter Mohammad Rizwan has been in absolute tremendous form. May it is the red-ball version or white-ball version of the game, the lad has proven his worth and is continuing to impress with the bat and behind the stumps.

Rizwan, who has fixed his spot in place of the former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed, has stayed the top-scorer in Pak vs SA T20I series from Pakistan’s end. He crossed the hundred in the first game, breaking a pile of records, and crossed fifty in the deciding match as well.

However, the reason is out of an understanding that why Karachi Kings have released such a player who is continuously showing outclass performances as a wicketkeeping batsman.

The luck shines for Multan Sultans who have auctioned him for the PSL 6. As of now, Ali Tareen’s owned team has dismissed Shan Masood as the captain picking Rizwan’s services for the to be soon started season.

The co-owner said,

“Mohammad Rizwan has shown exemplary leadership qualities with the Pakistan team as well as with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Domestic tournaments,”

“He is presently one of the very best in the world in his position and we are excited to have him lead our team for the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League.

“We are grateful to Shan Masood for leading the franchise exceptionally well last season and for instilling a winning mentality within the team.”

Kings will be missing his services as they have released a potent gem. On the other hand, Sultans have got a mesmerizing class. Although they stayed at the top of the table till the end under Shan last season, they have opted to go for Rizwan this season.

Showcasing his joy, Rizwan added,

I look forward to leading the Multan Sultans team for the upcoming season,” said Rizwan.

“I have understood the innovative approach the franchise applied last season and am looking forward to playing my part this year.

“Multan Sultans had a successful HBL PSL 5 and we will aspire to go even better this time around especially with senior Pakistani players like Shahid Khan Afridi, Shan Masood and Sohail Tanveer to look up to.

“I am grateful to the owner Mr. Alamgir Khan Tareen and the Head Coach, Andy Flower, for this opportunity and shall, InshaAllah, repay the franchise for the trust that they’ve shown in me with positive results on the field.”
