PSL 2021: List of unsold players
The HBL PSL Draft for the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021) took place on 10th January. Pakistan’s T20 league, entering into its sixth year, has witnessed the names of many biggest international stars. Also, the local talent of the country is a blister to mention. However, there is a list of players who have remained unsold this season.
Some of the stars from the past PSL seasons and the domestic cricketers named Saud Shakeel, Abdullah Shafique, Kamran Ghulam, Ali Imran, Hasan Mohsin, Saif Badar, Mubashir Khan, Umer Khan, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Huraira have made no place in the franchises’ priority list despite their recent performances.
On the other hand, some of the prominent names such as Junaid Khan, Ahmed Shehzad, Hammad Azam, Rahat Ali, Fawad Alam, Haris Sohail, and Umar Amin also have not been picked by any franchise.

Despite the local talent, the six teams have not opted for Thisara Parera and Mustafizur Rehman from Bangladesh while considering the overseas players.
It was surprising to see how many national and international stars have remained unsold during the auction. However, the draft is finalized now and the current title defenders, Karachi Kings are all set to lock horns with the Quetta Gladiators in the opening match of the HBL PSL 6.
