PSL 2021: Top 3 bowlers to watch this season

The Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021) is going to hit the stages by 20th February and the six franchises are all set to compete with each other. With the HBL PSL draft done, the management has auctioned world-class bowlers.

Picking the likes of Mohammad Amir, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Wahab Riaz, and many more, the names of the multiple bowlers are worth mentioning. The stats in just five seasons held are brilliant and here are the top three bowlers ready to rock the grounds that you can watch in the sixth HBL PSL.

PSL 2021: Top three bowlers to watch for

Wahab Riaz:

The pace sensation has been remarkable since the 2016 PSL season. Presenting himself since the PSL 1, he has featured in a total of 55 matches. Delivering the best, Wahab relishes being the top PSL bowler with 76 wickets in 54 innings.

His best figure gathers a hat-trick that came conceding 17 runs. Notably, the delightful player has only rendered his services to Peshawar Zalmi. Wahab’s most wickets were attained in PSL 2018 when he played 13 matches clinching 18 wickets.

Hasan Ali:

The bowler ranks second in the Top PSL bowlers following Wahab. Shockingly, he also has been rendering his regards to Zalmi but it is the yellow army’s unfortunate as Hasan now has picked by Islamabad United.

The pacer’s wickets in the 2019 season cannot be forgotten as he continued to pick 3, 4, or more so often. However, featuring in a total of 44 innings of 45 matches, Hasan has 59 wickets to his name with 4-15 being his best figure.

His best stats were acknowledged in PSL 4 having 25 wickets just in 13 matches.

Rashid Khan:

It is going to be the first season for Afghanistan’s leg-break bowler in the history of PSL. The leggie appears at the top of ICC T20I bowlers with 89 wickets in 48 matches. His stats in IPL are much comparative to his T20I career as Rashid has 75 wickets in 62 matches at an economy of 6.24.

The player is chosen by Lahore Qalandars for the PSL 6 and it is going to be a show staged at Karachi and Lahore stadiums.
