PSL 2021: Top three domestic players to watch for

The Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021) is going to hit the stages by 20th February and the six franchises are all set to compete with each other. With the HBL PSL draft done, the management has auctioned world-class locals.

Unlike the star players like Babar Azam or Hasan Ali, we will be looking at the domestic talents who are yet to debut but promises to be Pakistan’s future. The stats in just five seasons held are brilliant and here are the top three domestic ready to rock the grounds that you can watch in the sixth HBL PSL.

Rohail Nazir

An exciting talent, right-hand batsman Rohail Nazir was auctioned by Islamabad United. The young batsman hailing from Islamabad, Rohail has a very impressive record in List A and First Class, averaging 40+ in both formats. He was one of the top run-scorers in the U19 series against South Africa, leading his side to 7-0 whitewash! Rohail will be expected to play alongside the likes of Alex Hales and Colin Munro.

Zahid Mehmood

Picked by Quetta Gladiators, Zahid Mehmood has been in great form lately. Comping fresh from Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, he took 52 wickets at an average of 27. He was the third-highest wicket-taker. The left-arm bowler is impressed by domestic coaches for his line and length bowling and Zahid will be eager to go and perform in PSL 6.

Danish Aziz

An exciting left-hand batsman, Danish played National T20 Cup last year and played two match-winning knocks. He scored 220 runs at an average of 72. Picked by the defending champions Karachi Kings, Danish will be pushing himself more to perform and get a chance to get a call up for the national side.

In the ongoing Pakistan Cup, Danish has played four out of seven games for Sindh and scored 199 runs at an average of 199, including a magnificent 101* to guide his team to victory.
