The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has bestowed a demand to the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) for entertaining the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6). The selection for the PSL 2021 venue hangs by a thread as the board waits for approval from the ECB.
The next two days are crucial for the PCB and the fate of the PSL 6 as the ECB might respond any time waiting for a green signal from the upper head, the UAE government. The six franchises and the officials will be rushing to the country via chartered flights.

“Only after permission from the Emirates Board for staging PSL matches there, the teams will fly to the UAE on a chartered plane. The chartered plane is allowed to land in the UAE,” a PCB spokesman confided.”
As there has been a lot of gossips denying that PSL cannot be adjusted in the UAE due to a ban imposed on travelers from Pakistan, one of the officials of the PCB said that this ban is for the local residents but not for the players. Hence, the board anticipates a positive response from the Arab country to recommence the PSL 2021.
The UAE government has banned Pakistani citizens and not players,”
“A lot of things need to be done from logistics, players’ visa to production once UAE government gives green signal to host PSL 6’s remainder there. PCB is likely to receive any response by next week,”
Notably, the Pakistan board and the NCOC met last week to decide to shift the tournament to any country despite the COVID-19 surge in the cricket-loving nation. Now, the jurisdictions are contemplating shifting the matches to one of the venues among Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
