PSL 2022: What is wrong with Sarfaraz Ahmed’s Attitude?

sarfaraz attitude winning hearts

In a nail-biting match last night, Multan Sultans thrashed Quetta Gladiators to register their third win of the  Pakistan Super League PSL tournament, leaving Sarfaraz and his men on the losing ways.

At the beginning of the match, the purple force looked in control, with the side taking early crucial wickets, but Shan’s heroics with the bat helped lodge a defendable score on the board. In the second innings, team Quetta seemed determined to win, but a fall of wickets at the most crucial stage of the match cost them the game.

Although the match was exciting and the playing teams were submitting full efforts to win, the Quetta leader seemed agitated, irritated and just plain annoyed. And this is not the first match to have observed this kind of attitude from the 34-year-old. He is often seen in this disposition, especially when his bowlers are being hit for boundaries.

While it is normal to feel pressure in intense games, it is equally important to keep one’s nerves in check. Because in a match already building on pressure, it is absolutely not ok to put the player’s morale down by putting one’s frustrations on display and not caring about the spirit of cricket.

Sarfaraz, who is immensely respected in the realm of cricket for having bagged so many achievements, including winning important ICC trophies and leading the national side to number one position in the T20I category of the sport, is often critiqued for his body language during the game.

The cricket lovers believe this problem might be causing the team to lose. And in the typical Twitter style, fans can’t stop pointing out the attitude problem in a hilarious way.
