PSL 6: Which emerging bowler is dominating so far?


The Pakistan Super League (PSL) continue to give its rise in their tradition of Fast bowling.

We have seen some fabulous fast bowlers emerging in their season of PSL as well as carrying from last season that have shown that they have the potential to represent Pakistan in the future and can become their future stars.

Now, we take a look at the top four bowlers who have impressed their fans and experts and showed that they will push further to play the bigger stage.

PSL 6: Which emerging bowler is dominating so far?

1. Shahnawaz Dahani

The young man, who has got express pace and has been a little bit compared with the aggressive style of former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, has been praised by many fans and experts.

Shahnawaz Dhani had one of the most memorable debuts in Pakistan Super League (PSL) history as he stepped onto the field for Multan Sultans in their match against Peshawar Zalmi. He had the figures of 2-44, but before he ended up with poor figures, he was bowling brilliantly.

He has six wickets and is the joint fourth-highest wicket-taker along with Arshad Iqbal.

2. Mohammad Wasim Jr

Wasim started his career in north Waziristan but it reached new heights once he settled in Peshawar. He went wicketless against Karachi Kings after taking four wickets in two games he played. His long-term aim is to play as an all-rounder in Pakistan National Cricket Team.

Mohammad Wasim has four wickets to his name so far.

3. Arshad Iqbal 


When Dean Jones took over the coaching role of Karachi Kings in 2020, he was impressed with one of the locals of the team.  On Arshad Iqbal, he said that “this boy is exactly what we want” and was very impressed by him. The bowler took 3-16 in his four-over spell as Karachi Kings bowled out Quetta Gladiators for 121 in the 2021 PSL opener. Once again, he has been the best bowler of the Kings and will likely to mark his name in the Pakistan squad soon if he continues to perform like this.

He has six wickets and is the joint fourth-highest wicket-taker along with Shahnawaz Dhani.

4. Mohammad Imran 


He was awarded the cap by the former captain and current coach Darren Sammy. Apart from just a couple of wickets in three games, his economy has been very good. The 20 years old bowler has made his debut in this season of PSL.

Mohammad Wasim has two wickets to his name so far.

These players are expected to lead this PSL and will try to make their names on the national side.
