PSL 7: Karachi Kings fans disappointed over horrendous start

The Pakistan Super League’s seventh release is finally on the munch and the home siders were not at all expecting what happened to them in the PSL 7 opener versus the Multan Sultans.

Karachi Kings, being commanded by Babar Azam for the first time, portrayed a horrendous batting picture putting 124 on the board. Losing wickets at the regular intervals did not let them settle with the bat as Sultans bowlers rocked being economical.

Kings could have bounced back whilst defending a target of 125 but Sultans, having a potent and well-settled XI, crossed the margin successfully in 18.2 overs. It must be noted that the Kings were missing on their key players including Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim.

After seeing the poor performance in both areas, Kings‘ fans have every right to be disappointed by their side especially owning huge expectations from Babar as a captain after seeing him leading in the T20 World Cup 2021 rightly.
