PSL 7 might be last for Shahid Afridi

The seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 7) might be the last PSL for Shahid Afridi. The extravaganza is expected to start in February 2022 but may suffer dilemmas amidst the national fold.

The board will try its best not to let the national series collide with the tournament’s window as the Australian Cricket Team is expected to voyage in men in green’s realm during the same window.

Discussing the topic, Afridi made his statement in late June saying that he would prefer to play his last PSL for Quetta Gladiators.

Lately, he has been part of Multan Sultans but was pulled out amidst the concussion during a training session. Sultans later grasped their maiden trophy under the sound leadership of Muhammad Rizwan.

He added,

If the franchise releases me, I will prefer to represent the Quetta Gladiators in my last season.”

Recently, the narrative of Nadeem Omar, the owner of the Gladiators, inferred that he would love to see Afridi representing the Purple Force – One statement and too many conclusions hinted.
