The sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is just around the corner as it will begin on February 20.
Fans cannot wait for the start of yet another season, especially when the Pakistan government had last week allowed the PCB to let in only 20 per cent of the crowds for the matches that will be staged at two venues this year Karachi’s National Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

The sixth PSL will have the first 20 games in Karachi before the tournament moves to Lahore, which hosts the remaining 14 matches, including the final on March 22.
The tickets for the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League will only be sold online.
Meanwhile, Opening ceremony of PSL will be broadcast live
For the sixth edition of PSL, the opening ceremony will be broadcast live instead of being performed on the ground due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation
It is understood that the ground has become a bio-secure bubble due to which it is not possible for the stage to build and be performed by the artists for the ceremony.
The event will be recorded in advance and on the opening day of PSL, on February 20th, it will be broadcast throughout Pakistan as well as other countries who holds the broadcasting rights for the tournament. Where it will take place is still kept hidden by the PCB and other artists.
The PSL has a great history of opening ceremonies. Since its inauguration in 2016, it has made some magnificent opening ceremonies which have been enjoyed by many fans from around the world.
