PSL Top moments: Karachi Kings vs Islamabad United

The defending champions Karachi Kings took on two times PSL winner Islamabad United for the sixth match of HBL PSL 2021.

Karachi Kings won their opening game against Quetta Gladiators and looked strong in three departments. However, coming against Islamabad United, who have a win-loss record of 6-8 against them, it was a challenge for them on how this season will go.

Islamabad United won their first game thanks to the all-round performance from Lewis Gregory. Their middle order is very concerning and they will be looking to fix them in this match. Up against Karachi Kings, it was a great match up ahead.

Islamabad United chased down Karachi Kings 196 with five balls to spare. They chased it with such an ease that it was hardly a competition.

Take a look at the top moments of the sixth match.

Sharjeel Khan was struggling to give the start Karachi Kings needed and found at 55-0 in the eight over with Sharjeel at 21 from 22 balls. However, his next five balls read: dot, six, six, six, six. He smashed Shadab Khan for four consecutive sixes as he raced to 45 runs from 27 balls.

3. Aamir Yamin concedes 29 in one over

One of the moments where Islamabad United really got into chases is one over of Aamir Yamin. Islamabad United found themselves quickly at 14-2. However, when Aamir Yamin was introduced, Alex Hales decided to move on. Alex Hales alone smashed 28 runs of the over (with one being a no-ball) and went from 11 from 8 balls to 39 from 15 balls.
