QG vs MS: Will Quetta be out of PSL 6 tonight?

QG vs MS: The fourteenth T20 of the HBL PSL 6 is underway between the Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans. The match is big because Sarfaraz and Rizwan, the same designated competitor in the national squad, are facing each other as the teams’ captains.

Sarfaraz, who is known to be the terrific T20 skipper, is failing to make it since the last few matches. Including PSL 2020, he has had a terrible initiation in the PSL 6 with Gladiators already coming up with four back-to-back defeats of the season.

As they are featuring in their fifth match, it is a do-or-die scenario for the Quetta Gladiators. At least 9 points, meaning at least 4 triumphs would be necessary (with a better net run-rate to be in the fourth position).

QG vs MS: Will Quetta be out of PSL 6 tonight?

With the 5th match of QG going on against MS, only 5 more encounters will be remaining for the Sarfaraz-led team. Losing either one of them will cost the side negatively.

As the results of the games are highly dependent on bowling first, the teams are choosing to field first on winning the toss. Notably, Gladiators have not even won a single toss hence, ended up losing all four.

In the ongoing QG vs MS, MS once again won the toss and elected to field the first means the conquer!

Will Quetta be out of PSL 6 tonight

In case if Gladiators win tonight, they will have an option to win at least three more games with a better net run-rate to be in the top 4 on HBL PSL 6 points table. If lose, they will be slid down to the fifth or sixth spot. The total of five victories will grant them a bigger chance but they have to compete with NRR with Sultans who ranks fifth.
