Pakistan have thrashed away South Africa to stay in the race for the semifinal alongside other teams of Group 2 for the T20 World Cup 2022. After losing to India and Zimbabwe, their chances of reaching the semifinal were slimmed down. However, they have maintained them with some ifs and buts.
According to the latest qualification scenario, Pakistan must win the next match against Bangladesh. That is not it. They must also wait for South Africa vs Netherlands to get washed out or South Africa losing in this encounter. Moreover, they would also want Zimbabwe to defeat India in their upcoming game.

I'm saying this for the 100th time already – if Pakistan win both their matches and South Africa vs Netherlands is washed out, Pakistan will qualify for the semis on the basis of more matches won. NRR won't be taken into account, please stop mentioning that. #T20WorldCup

Okay fine. So for Pakistan to qualify for the semi finals, they need to beat Bangladesh and hope either Zimbabwe to beat India or South Africa to either lose to Netherlands or that game to be rained off. The anxiety continues… pic.twitter.com/fgMSXCx5A8

Scenario for Pakistan to qualify for Semifinals:
•First needs win vs Bangladesh.
•India lose against Zimbabwe or
•South Africa lose against Nederlands.
•If South Africa game washed out then still Pakistan have chance, NRR came to play.— CricketMAN2 (@ImTanujSingh) November 3, 2022
India, despite having six points and topping the table, are not yet qualified for the semifinal. Where South Africa have five points which place them second, Bangladesh and Pakistan both have four points are rank fourth and third on the points table respectively.
