Rashid Latif makes a bold claim, says Ehsan Mani ditched me: Read why

The former Pakistan captain, Rashid Latif has urged a bold claim about PCB chairman Ehsan Mani. As per Rashid’s comments, Mani chose Misbah ul Haq as the head coach and chief selector as a consequence of favoritism and let Rashid down.

In a video, the former skipper added that all of the contracts were finalized by CEO Wasim Khan and he was selected as the coach and skipper for the men’s National Team.

Further elaborating, he says it is ‘breaking news’ – Mani, who is interlinked with the finances of PCB, did not want Rashid to occupy the posts. Hence, ended up prioritizing Misbah.

Notably, Misbah was handed over two PCB posts back in 2019. He suffered massive criticism first of all for being the owner of two respected spots and then the downfall of the team in the consecutive matches once again dragged him into trouble.

However, according to the updated PCB policies, no individual can uphold multiple posts on the national board. Consequently, Misbah has been stepped down as a chief selector as Mohammad Waseem is in charge of the selection committee.
