Mohammad Hafeez or Sarfraz Ahmed – Who is right?
Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan scored his first T20 International century, which resulted in him to become just the second Pakistan batsman, and first wicket-keeper batsman to achieve this milestone.
Mohammad Rizwan’s century also meant that he became just the second wicket-keeper in the world to score a century in all three formats of international cricket.
Many praises came from around the world, praising Mohammad Rizwan’s brilliant effort that helped Pakistan win the first T20 International against South Africa by a thrilling three runs in Lahore.
One of the praises came from former Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez, who missed out on his selection due to quarantine covid issues, as he tweeted for Rizwan and wondered how long will he need to prove that he is the best wicket-keeper for Pakistan across formats.
Congratulations @iMRizwanPak on scoring T20 ?????. U r a Star shining star ? Wonder how long u need to prove that u r NO1 wicketkeeper/Batsman in pakistan in all formats of the game. Just asking ?? pic.twitter.com/e5fSNIaCmN

Sarfraz Ahmed responded to tweets of Mohammad Hafeez
The tweets of Mohammad Hafeez did not seem to be targeting any player specifically. It seems that Hafeez’s response was towards those journalists & specifically Mazhar Arshad who was saying that Rizwan isn’t fit to play in the T20 squad.
Former captain and Champions Trophy winner Sarfraz Ahmed came in and responded to Mohammad Hafeez’s tweets. He started the respond by mentioning the names of former wicket-keepers, apart from himself, to Rizwan and said that every one of them has been “number one” for Pakistan and have been respected too.
Sarfraz Ahmed even stated that for someone who has represented Pakistan in many games should come with nothing but positiveness.
Read his tweets.
Hafeez bhai Sb, whoever has played for Pakistan from Imtiaz Ahmed, Wasim Bari, Tasleem Arif to Saleem Yousuf and from Moin Khan, Rashid Latif to Kamran Akmal and even Rizwan right now has always been number ONE for the country and have been respected accordingly. https://t.co/dF7BScOurl

Aur ayende bhee jisko bhee chance milega wo Pakistan ke liye number ONE hee huga. We expect nothing but positiveness coming from an international player who has played so many games for Pakistan. #JustSaying??

Mohammad Amir comes out of nowhere to respond
Meanwhile, former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir came out of nowhere to respond to the tweets of Sarfraz Ahmed. Sarfraz did not mention himself as number one when he was mentioning the names of Pakistan wicket-keepers. Amir started off by saying that he is number one as well. Amir called Sarfraz as “Pride of Pakistan” for leading Pakistan to Champions Trophy victory as well as leading them to number one rank in Twenty20 Internationals.
babu u also a number 1 wicketkeeper batsman in Pakistan or ap ki hi captain the jab team 2 saal team no 1 rhi in t20 or sab se bar kar champions trophy so u are pride of Pakistan big respect or maze ki bat logon kam hai awein ka bolna so enjoy bro????
