Shane Warne dies, leaves the cricket world mourning

Australia’s legendary cricketer Shane Warne has died following a suspected heart attack, aged 52. According to the official brief statements coming, Warne was in Thailand and suffered a sudden heart attack. He was found unresponsive in his villa despite the best efforts of medical panel provided to him.

His family has requested privacy and will respond to the journalist’s queries in a short course. Undoubtedly, Cricket Australia (CA) and the world cricket is suffering a hefty blow, following the unbelievable news.

“Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived,” the statement read.
“The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”

It was just a few hours back he tweeted about the loss of his dear friend and the former cricketer, Rod Marsh, who also passed away due to a heart attack aging 74. No one knew, Warne was going to be the next to bid farewell to the world in a few hours.

The cricket world is yet to digest the saddening news. He has been world’s most lethan bowler with terrific leg-spin attack. Warne was a singlehanded man to revive legspin in early 1990s. The bowler has 708 Test wickets to his name in 145 matches and ended his ODI career with 293 wickets in 194 games.

It will not be wrong to say that Shane Warner late was one of the unrivals. He was named Wisden cricketer of the year on three different occasions and one of the five Wisden cricketers of the 20th century.
