A notable name from Pakistan Cricket, Sharjeel Khan, was banned in PSL 2017 as he and his mate, Khalid Latif, were found guilty of indulging in a spot-fixing scandal.

Sharjeel was banned from all forms of cricket for five years. Before the duration passed, a petition was filed to remove his name from the pleaded guilty cricketer list.

Sharjeel later participated in PSL 2020 after his ban was lifted in August 2019. He continued to blast with his blister batting form. Many used to criticize him as a fixer, but he denied the claims for two years.

When he wanted to return on the road to play cricket, he finally accepted his crime committed. As of now, as Pakistan Cricket Team is all set to tour Zimbabwe and South Africa, the chief selector has named him to the T20I squad.

Many patriotic are slamming him, terming him as a ‘fixer’ whereas, a few support him on behalf of his PSL 2021 performance.
