Which teams have not yet announced their squads for Asia Cup 2022?

Asia Cup 2022 is revolving just around the corner, and the fans can wait no more to witness quality cricket action. It is all set to begin on 27th August and will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) till 11th September. Initially, the event was scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka. However, due to the economic and political instability in the nation, the Asian Cricket Council has decided to shift the venue.

This time, the Asia Cup will be played in t20 format, or else it is a 50-over competition. Despite losing the hosting rights, the SLC is the original host of the event and will get all the fees for preparing to host the tournament. Notably, Asia Cup 2022 will feature six teams, divided into two groups, with each group composing three teams.

One from Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE, or Kuwait will join the already qualified teams; Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. It must be noted that the arch-rivals India, Pakistan and the Qualifiers have been placed in Group A, whereas the rest of the teams are in Group B. The top two teams from each group will reach the Super 4, which will be played in a round-robin manner. The top two of the Super 4 will make it to the Asia Cup 2022 final.
