Pak vs SA, Zim squads: Unhappy critics on the ‘justified selection’

Pak vs SA, Zim: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the T20I, ODI, and Test squads as the Pakistan tour of Zimbabwe and South Africa is just a few days ahead.

The selection has been termed as justified but many critics are unhappy over a few scenarios. For example, Mohammad Hafeez’s elimination from the ODI squad is not found justified by a few.

Shadab over Zahid? Question critics:

Other than that, people believe Shadab Khan has been underperforming for a few matches thus, should have not been named in the squad. Zahid Mehmood, who picked three wickets in his T20I debut, is getting immense support from the fans.

Preferring leg-spinner Zahid over Shadab, the critics also find Imad Wasim’s removal from all three teams as ‘unjustification’. Also, Kamran Ghulam is getting severe attention for not getting any opportunity.

Kamran dropped without being tried? Ask fans:

Notably, he surpassed the year-old run-making record in the recently coiled-up domestic event. Despite being named in the red-ball squad against New Zealand, he did not receive any trial match and has been dropped without being his international performance judged.

Picked despite tainted past? Fans slam Sharjeel

Along with all of the mention scenarios, Sharjeel Khan, who was banned from all forms of cricket in 2017 for five years, got his ban lifted two years later. As of now, PCB has made him eligible to represent Pakistan as he is named in the T20I squad vs Zimbabwe and South Africa.
