PCB Announces State-of-the-Art Facilities in Sialkot and Faisalabad

The Government of Punjab has reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing cricket talent with the handover of two state-of-the-art High-Performance Centres to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Situated in Sialkot and Faisalabad, these centres signify a monumental leap in the development of cricket infrastructure within these cities, heralding a new era of opportunity for aspiring cricketers.

Nadeem Khan, Director of Domestic Cricket, expressed his gratitude towards the Government of Punjab, stating, “These state-of-the-art facilities will significantly elevate the standard of cricket training in Pakistan.” He emphasized the importance of providing players with access to top-notch infrastructure and resources, believing that such an environment will empower them to unleash their full potential on the field.

He added,

“I would like to express my gratitude towards the Government of Punjab for entrusting the PCB with two High-Performance centres.

“With access to top-notch infrastructure and resources, our players will have the ideal environment to hone their skills and reach their full potential.”

These High-Performance Centres are equipped with cutting-edge facilities tailored to enhance the skills and performance of players at all levels. Highlights include dedicated cricket grounds built to the highest standards, offering the perfect setting for training sessions and competitive matches.

Moreover, these centres are inclusive, welcoming players of all ages and genders, reflecting the PCB’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity within the cricketing community. With the addition of the Sialkot and Faisalabad High-Performance Centres, the PCB now boasts a total of five such facilities, including the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre in Karachi, and the Inzamam-ul-Haq High-Performance Centre in Multan.

Looking ahead, the PCB is set to commence planning events and coaching programs at the newly established High-Performance Centres, aiming to maximize their potential in nurturing and developing cricketing talent across the region.
