On Sunday, Indian cricketer Venkatesh Iyer achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman to score a century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since 2008. Iyer’s century was celebrated not only by his fans but also by Suhana Khan, the daughter of Bollywood superstar and KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan.

Iyer’s impressive knock of 104 runs off just 49 balls, which included six boundaries and nine sixes, was a personal best for him. Prior to this, he had never scored a T20 century and his highest T20 score was 88. Despite getting hit on his knee earlier in the match, Iyer managed to lead his team to a dominant victory.

After reaching the milestone of a century, Iyer celebrated the feat by bowing his head, as the crowd erupted into cheers. The cameras panned across the delighted audience and briefly captured Suhana, who was seen cheering energetically for the KKR franchise co-owned by her father.

Suhana looked beautiful in a grey shirt, with her hair pulled back, as she enthusiastically clapped for Iyer and the team. The moment highlighted the strong support that Shah Rukh Khan’s family has for KKR and their players.

Iyer’s century was a significant achievement for the KKR team, as they had been struggling to find their form in the IPL this season. With Iyer’s explosive performance, the team was able to secure a much-needed victory, boosting their confidence and morale.

Iyer’s century was a fantastic accomplishment for him and the KKR team, and the support shown by Suhana Khan added to the celebrations. It will be interesting to see how Iyer and the team continue to perform in the rest of the IPL season.
