The first day of Abu Dhabi T10 League has come to an end. The Day 1 of T10 League saw some fine performances with both bat and ball and fans from all around the world watched the live stream of T10 League tournament.
Two matches from Group A, Maratha Arabians vs Northern Warriors and Delhi Bulls vs Bangla Tigers, along with one match from Group B, Pune Devils vs Deccan Gladiators were played today. Take a look at each game’s match reports on the opening day of T10 League.
Match 1: Maratha Arabians vs Northern Warriors
Maratha Arabians won the toss and elected to field first. Northern Warriors got off to a great start thanks to lendl Simmons and Brandon King. Brandon King (29) was ran out but Simmons carried on and ended up with 54 not out in 31 balls. He was supported by late burst from Rovman Powell who scored 22 not out from 7 balls. Northern ended the innings on 127-2 in ten overs.
Maratha Arabians had five of their wickets fallen during their chase. Fabien Allan bowled well for Northern Warriors, picking up 2-11 in two overs. However, the star was Maratha Arabians’ wicket-keeper Abdul Shakoor, who scored a blistering 73 runs from 28 balls. They chased the total down with five wickets on the last ball of the innings.
Maratha Arabians started their campaign with a win in this season of T10 League.

Match 2: Pune Devils vs Deccan Gladiators
Pune Devils won the toss and elected to field first and quickly they had Deccan Gladiators limping at 15-3 in the third over. Cameron Delport scored 25, but he was dismissed and Deccan Gladiators were found themselves 77-5 in the start of 9th over. Pune Devils’ star performers where Nassir Hossain (3-18) and Munis Ansari (2-11)However, Azam Khan scored 37 not out from 13 balls to take Deccan Gladiators to 104-5.
It was an easy chase for Pune Devils as they chased the target down with 7 wickets to spare and four balls remaining. The chase was led by an unbeaten fifty from Kennar Lewis, who scored 57 not out from 28 balls.
Pune Devils are off with a win in this T10 League.

Match 3: Delhi Bulls vs Bangla Tigers
Bangla Tigers won the toss and elected to bat first and they did not waste any time to go bang. Johnson Charles and captain Andre Fletcher put on a stand of 101 in 7.1 overs, smashing every bowler they face. The breakthrough came by the batsmen’s West indies teammate DJ Bravo, who bowled Fletcher for 32. Charles however, carried on and ended the innings with 73 not out from 35 balls. Tigers ended with 128-2.
128 proved to be too little for Delhi Bulls as the batsmen made a team effort to chase it down. The leader of the chase was Rahmanullah Gulbaz, who scored 41 from 15 balls. He was supported by Ravi Bopara’s 38 runs from 16 balls and unbeaten 32 from Evin Lewis in 18 balls to help Bulls to start their T10 League with a win by seven wickets.
