T10 League

The third day of Abu Dhabi T10 League has come to an end. The Day 2 of T10 League saw some fine performances with both bat and ball and fans from all around the world watched the live stream of T10 League tournament.

Two matches from Group A, Bangla Tigers vs Maratha Arabians and Northern Warriors vs Delhi Bulls, along with one match from Group B, Team Abu Dhabi vs Qalandars were played today. Take a look at each game’s match reports on the second day of T10 League.

Match 7: Bangla Tigers vs Maratha Arabians, Group A

Batting first after loosing the toss, Mohammad Hafeez (61*) and Abdul Shakoor (34*) were glued to the crease as they put on 103 for no loss in their innings.

However, their bowlers failed to put the breaks on them despite taking four wickets. Bangla Tigers won the match wit two overs to spare with Andre Fletcher the captain top scored 31 from 16 balls/

Brief score: Bangla Tigers (105-4) beat Maratha Arabians (103-0) by six wickets

Match 8: Team Abu Dhabi vs Qalandars, Group B

Once again bowling first, star all-rounder Shahid Afridi was included in the eleven and he took 2-16 in his spell, restricting Team Abu Dhabi to 100-5.

The Qalandars were once again started off well, curtesy of Tom Banton’s 30 from 14 before he was dismissed by Naveen ul-Haq. Sharjeel Khan (40*) and captain Sohail Akhtar (27*) guide their team to nine wickets victory and 10 balls remaining.

Waqas Maqsood bowled the most economical spell in T10 League

Match 9: Northern Warriors vs Delhi Bulls, Group A

Nicolas Pooran (54), Rovman Powell (24*) and Fabien Allen (28*) powered Northern Warriors to 137-3. There was a record from one bowler of Delhi Bulls; Waqas Maqsood bowled the most economical figures in T10 League with 1-1 in two overs.

Delhi Bulls could not power themselves to win and they lost wickets regularly. They managed only 105 runs and also loosing 7 wickets. In the process, Delhi Bulls became the first team fail to chase this T10 League season.

Brief score: Northern Warriors (137-3) beat Delhi Bulls (105-7) by 32 runs
