India and Pakistan have never enjoyed stable relations. The Indo-Pak political tensions are part of the two cricket-loving nations since independence. Consequently, the residences from each side look at each other as the contestants that have badly affected the spirit of cricket.

Notably, there is no Pak vs Ind match on the ICC future tour programs till 2023. The two teams last faced each other in 2012 in a bilateral series. Other than this, Pakistan India have locked horns together only in the ICC or ACC tournaments.

As the sixth edition of the ICC T20 World Cup is to take place in the second half of 2021, India is located as the entertainer of the entire event. But the problematic plot for Pakistan to visit there is the assurance of Visa for players, journalists, officials.

After the Pulwama attack 2019, India wrongly blamed Pakistan. The stances are not cleared yet, and hence, for this reason, the men in green and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will suffer troubles in the touring visa procedures.  The situation can even be worsened if India denis granting visas to players, fans, officials, etc

Ehsan Mani, the chairman of PCB, in a statement, has uttered visa assurance from India or he says that PCB will be submitting an application to relocate ICC T20 World Cup. The mega-event was all set to be organized in Australia in 2020 but it got canceled amidst the COVID outspread. Later, India was chosen as the host and thus, it ought to happen.

A similar picture portrayed when Pakistan was elected as the home to welcome Asia Cup 2020 but India raised an issue for a consequence of which, Sri Lanka was chosen as the venue to host the Asia Cup version.

However, the ACC tournament was later canceled for the COVID threats. It is now scheduled for this year to take place in the island country. Written below are the statements from Mani on the synopsis that were depicted in virtual interaction.

“There is a need to change the ‘Big Three’. We are not seeking written assurance for the visas of the national team only, but for the fans, officials and journalists as well. We have told the ICC that India should give written assurances by the end of March so that we know where we stand or we will push for the relocation of the World Cup from India to UAE,”
