T20 World Cup: Will Pandya bowl? Reveals Kohli

Finally, the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 has kick-started as the first two encounters will be down and dusted till tonight. India, one of the favorites to lift this year’s trophy, will inaugurate their World Cup campaign on 24th October versus Pakistan on 24th October at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Notably, Hardik Pandya, India’s crucial all-rounder, has been suffering and his form is still a matter of debate. After his acute lower-back injury, which successfully got treated in London, he was almost out of the bowling panel and yet, is only noticed active with the bat.

As the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) just got wind up two days before the T20 World Cup began in Oman, Pandya, Mumbai Indian’s player, did not bowl the whole season.

According to many analysts, it is assumed that he will be available only with the bat for the entire World Cup. Whereas, Kohli has contradicted the statements saying he is getting prepared to deliver at least two overs.

Notably, Pandya, unmatched to any other at the sixth spot and wicket-taking abilities, did not bowl either in India’s warm-up matches vs England and Australia respectively. Kohli, seeing no 6th bowling option in the crew, bowled himself and yielded 12 runs in two overs. However, one cannot expect him to be consistent with the bowl.
