With the Islamabad United, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, and Karachi Kings advancing their spots for the HBL PSL 6 playoffs, respectively, Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars got jolted out amidst their mediocre showcase sequentially.
United and Multan’s eligibilities were purely based on merit whereas, Zalmi’s chance in the playoffs gloom due to Sultan’s triumph over Qalandars giving the Yellow Storm a place sliding down the rest of the participants. However, there was a combat between Kings and Qalandars to invade the fourth spot on the table, impersonating their vacancies to qualify. Kings were lucky in the prospect to win the deciding encounter versus Gladiators yesterday.

Consequently, United will tackle Sultans in the Qualifier round on 21st June whereas, Kings vs Zalmi battle will feature Eliminator 2 on the same date in the dark hours at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. What is Qualifier Eliminator 1 Eliminator 2?
The top two teams on the HBL PSL 6 points table, Islamabad United and Multan Sultans, will contest each other in the Qualifier. The winning team directly will be qualified for the final, whereas; the losing team will have one more chance to be there. The qualifier is a sort of advantage and additional opportunity for the losing team despite their defeat.
The Eliminator 1 of the HBL PSL 6 is to be played between the third and fourth-ranked teams of the extravaganza as Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi will battle to progress. In this round, as the name indicates, the losing team will directly be out of the league whereas, the winning team will have to go through an additional round (eliminator 2) to get a ticket to the final.
As mentioned in the Qualifier’s paragraph, the losing team of the Qualifier will feature in Eliminator 2. But whom will they rival with?
