Quetta Gladiators choose Umar Gul as their bowling coach
The Purple Force, Quetta Gladiators have parted ways with Abdul Razzaq as their bowling coach as they now head on towards Umar Gul for the post.
Gladiators are glad to have Umar who is experienced with the Level 2 coaching course and retired from all forms of cricket a few months ago.
Razzaq, who was serving as the bowling coach for the Sarafraz-led side, cannot continue anymore with any PSL franchises due to the PCB policy.
The policy says that any individual working on any post inside PCB, cannot serve PSL or its franchises. In short, PCB has prohibited two posts at once for an individual in any form of Pakistan Cricket.
Razzaq is working with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, hence, there is no option remaining for him to continue with the Gladiators.
Quetta Gladiators choose Umar Gul as their bowling coach
It is to be noted that Umar has represented Quetta Gladiators in the 2016 and 2017 seasons. The league is, however, officially to get started from 20th February as the schedule is out now. QG are to play the opening match at National Stadium Karachi against Karachi Kings.
