Usman Qadir’s 6 wickets could not save Northern’s 4th consecutive defeat
It is the fourth consecutive defeat for the Northern as the seventh round of the ongoing Pakistan Cup 2021 has been terminated. Losing back-to-back four matches, nothing is helping in favor of them as Usman Qadir’s magnificent spell of 6-79-10 has been left worthless for them.
The 6-wicket haul could have been fruitful but it turned out of no use as Central Punjab held a complete grip over Northern. As a consequence, the team is now laying on the fifth spot as the last position is occupied by Balochistan.
Usman, who is the son of late cricketer Abdul Qadir Khan, says that,
”I’ve no comparison to my father (late Abdul Qadir) at all. He was a legend and will always remain a legend. He’s my inspiration and I try my best to implement in my bowling whatever I’ve learned from him.”
