Virat Kohli's Pakistani fans shows a heartfelt banner during PSL 7

Virat Kohli, one of the greatest names in the cricket world, is not only loved in India, but has gathered a massive fine line-up across the borders including the arch-rival nation, Pakistan. In the men in green’s land, the former Indian captain undoubtedly has hordes of devotees.

The point that Kohli is much loved in Pakistan got proved when a random fan in the stadium was spotted during the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL 7). In the midst of the Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators match on Friday, the fan showed a poster of Kohli, with his wish penned on that.

What does Virat Kohli’s Pakistani fan have to ask from him?

The boy wrote,

I want to see your century in Pakistan.

Notably, the ex-Indian skipper has not registered a single international century since late 2019. His last hundred, which turned into a triple ton versus Bangladesh during the day-night Test, is counted Kohli’s last international century since he has not managed a hundred yet.

Kohli is yet to play cricket in Pakistan. India’s last visit to the cricket-loving nation was back in 2008. Also, the two teams have not faced each other in the bilateral series since 2012-13 following their political issues.

The ICC and the ACC events are the only occasions when India faces Pakistan. The last time, the two teams met, was the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The men in blue were handed over a 10-wicket defeat by Babar Azam and co.

It must be noted WC21 was the last T20 assignment Virat Kohli led as a T20I captain. How did his captaincy end entirely? You must read here.
