The bowling coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team, Waqar Younis has demanded a meeting from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He believes when the meetings are arranged on Pakistan’s defeats, the same should happen on the victories.

Notably, Waqar and the coaches were questionable after consecutive poor form of the team. After the side lost against New Zealand, the South Africa series was granted as the last chance to prove their performances as the coach.

As of now, Pakistan have defeated SA in a two-match Test series winning all the matches. However, the T20I series will be justified as the games will begin by 10th February.

Waqar looked hurt as he had to answer on the defeat. As of now, he wants the accomplishment to be treated well and discussed in a meeting.

“I think the cricket committee should call a meeting after victories, too, so that we can assess the achievement and see if a plan can be made to maintain the continuity of success. Such sessions are very good,” he said.

“Critics are good. There should be criticism; it provides an opportunity to learn, but it should not be meaningless,” the coach said.

He says that the people of Pakistan are emotional and become happy with the victories. They want to see their country winning. Disclosing his past, he compares the current situation and talks made about them. Waqar uttered he also used to criticize the management when Pakistan lost and those words could be hurtful to listen.
