The former Indian cricketers also have raised their voices against Warner’s hit. Aakash Chopra, who has got a mouth full of praises for him, has also criticized the act. Gautam Gambhir, the former Indian cricketer, says it was pathetic from him. He added,

“Ricky Ponting, Shane Warne talk a lot about Sportsmanship, let’s see what they’ve to say about David Warner Six. Ball slipped from Hafeez‘s hand Warner shouldn’t have done that, he stole 6 runs, I want to see if they tweet about it”

The plot has two faces. Where a large group of people stands against the act, so many support the idea and call it entirely the batsman’s choice.

Notably, if Warner has not taken action against the ball, it could have been termed as dead but as he chose to play, it was named a no-ball, going for a six, granting seven runs to Australia.
