Wasim Akram meets his wife and daughter

Wasim Akram, the well-known former Pakistani cricketer, has finally reunited with the anticipated family in Australia after 10 months.

His wife, Shaniera Akram, and daughter, Ayla, are stuck in the Kangaroo’s realm amidst the COVID restrictions. But after completing the mandatory quarantine period in Pakistan, Akram has flown to them.

The king of swing shared adorable footage when he finally met his teenage daughter who opened the door to embraced her dad after a longer span.

While sharing the video, he thanked his wife for raising their daughter without them alongside mentioning the distant period between the family.

He wrote,

Finally seeing my daughter after 10 months apart! Thank you @iamshaniera for raising such a beautiful little princess while we have been apart #HappyDays#Australia

Earlier, Shaniera posted that although it has been eight years of being married to Wasim but it has been over 10 months since being separated from him.

Notably, the couple got married in 2013 and had a daughter named Ayla in 2014. Akram was earlier married to Huma Mufti who died in 2009 because of multiple organs’ failure. The two were happily married after tying the knot in 1995 having two sons together. It has been over a decade but Akram still misses his ex-wife.
