During their recent clash against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (Match 58), Mishra bowled a spell of 1/40 in four overs.
Opting to bat first, the Aiden Markram-led side made a strong start, reaching 73/2 after eight overs. Mishra took the ball for the ninth over, but faced a setback when Markram struck a six off his third delivery. However, the resilient wrist-spinner made a remarkable comeback as he dismissed Anmolpreet Singh (36 off 27) on the fifth ball of the over, catching him out and securing his first wicket of the match. Singh, attempting to attack Mishra, played the ball straight into the hands of the experienced bowler, who took a clean catch to complete the dismissal.

In the broader context of the match, SRH faced a setback in the middle overs after Anmolpreet Singh’s promising start. Krunal Pandya proved to be their nemesis, picking up consecutive wickets in the 13th over. First, he dismissed captain Markram (28 off 20) with a stumping, as the delivery turned sharply, leaving the batsman struggling.
Continuing his dominance, Pandya demolished Glenn Phillips’ stumps on the second ball, utilizing his deceptive turn. After these dismissals, Heinrich Klaasen (47 off 29) and Abdul Samad (37* off 25) stabilized the innings with a crucial partnership of 58 runs off 40 balls.
