Watch: Jimmy Neesham celebrates world's sleep day

During the second eliminator match of the ongoing eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Jimmy Neesham, the all-rounder from New Zealand, was caught on live camera taking a nap in the dressing room while representing Peshawar Zalmi. Neesham was rested for the match against Lahore Qalandars at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. His nap drew widespread attention on social media, with many people sharing and commenting on the video.

Despite Neesham’s absence, Peshawar Zalmi had set a target of 172 runs for the loss of five wickets, with the help of a blistering knock from Mohammad Haris, who scored 85 runs off 54 balls. However, Lahore Qalandars chased down the target with four wickets to spare, thanks to a brilliant batting display from Tahir Baig, who scored 54 runs off 42 balls, and contributions from Sam Billings and Sikandar Raza.

Neesham played seven matches this season for Peshawar Zalmi, taking six wickets at an average of 33.16 and scoring 87 runs with the bat at an average of 14.50. While he may have missed the eliminator match, his performance throughout the season was appreciated by fans and experts alike.
