The Pakistan Super League (PSL) sixth edition is coming up and what is better to have an anthem for the new season?
In the past, five different anthems have been made and used for all different seasons. Icon Ali Zafar have sung for the first three season. The fourth season was sung by Fawad Khan and it also features rap by Young Desi. The fifth season was sung by Ali Azmat, Haroon, Asim Azhar and Arif Lohar.
However, many people have enjoyed Ali Zafar’s anther for the PSL. Especially for the early days of the newly established Pakistan Super League. So which was the best anthem of PSL sung by Ali Zafar?

Ab khel kay dekha
When the announcement for the first-ever Pakistan Super Legue was announced, Ali Zafar was approached by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to create an anthem for the inaugural season. The song was produced and recorded by him in his studio. He then also performed in the opening ceremony of PSL season I in Dubai.
In order to promote the tournament, the hashtag #AbKhelKeDikha was used on the PSL’s social media accounts.
Ab Khel Jamay Ga
For the second consecutive time, Ali Zafar was again approached by the Pakistan Cricket Board to create an anthem for the second season of PSL. The hashtag #AbKhelJamayGa was used on social media accounts of PSL in order to promote the tournament.
Star Pakistani cricketers such as Ramiz Raja, Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, Umar Gul and Ahmed Shehzad were the part of the official video of the anthem, released by HBL.
This anthem of PSL became the most loving anthem and was praised a lot by the fans.
Dil Se Jaan Laga De
For three seasons straight, Ali Zafar wrote and sung the new anthem of Pakistan Super League 2018. The anthem was officially announced by a promotion hashtag #DilSeJaanLagaDe.
The anthem was released on 28 January 2018 by HBL Pakistan, the same day when Pakistan cricket team was ranked at top position in ICC T20I Championship after defeating New Zealand 2-1 in the series.
Star players again made an appearance in the music video such as Fakhar Zaman, Umar Amin, Babar Azam, Rumman Raees, Usman Shinwari, Faheem Ashraf and Amad Butt getting ready for the pitch. Some were involved in playing the instruments like Rameez Raja is drumming, Shoaib Malik is boxing and Ahmed Shehzad is playing guitars.
