Who can be best all-rounder in the world? Names Shoaib Akhtar

Former Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Akhtar has named a player who can be the best all-rounder in the world. Just like everytime, he has an Indian cricketer to name in his favorites list.

The ex-bowler feels Hardik Pandya will soon become best all-rounder in the world. According to Shoaib, the Indian cricketer has great traits in him, such as fielding and bowling and can bat to pace up runs in the middle-order.

Notably, Pandya was the player of the series in recently concluded India vs England three-match ODI series. He played a crucial part in the third ODI, which was the series decider, to let India win 2-1.

Talking on his YouTube channel, the former fast bowler said,

“Pandya is a great fielder and a great fast bowler, a great addition to the pace battery. In the latter overs where a lot of bowlers struggle, he performs and he managed to outshine the rest of the bowlers.

“He is obviously a great batter. He has got so many compact shots and he plays deliveries late. So I am sure that he will become one of the best all-rounders in the world. Just stay focused.”

Akhtar feels Pandya’s unavailability for two years has helped him bounce back even stronger. It must be noted the all-rounder was injured, and was unable to bowl for a longer tenure. Akhtar says he completes the team balance.

“He completes the team’s balance. He got a good jolt, staying out of the team for about two years because of his fitness. He was casual about his life and is now better.”
