Will Mohammad Amir play next PSL match for Karachi Kings?

Karachi Kings are abruptly suffering to win a single game losing all three in the going on the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 7). Losing three consecutive PSL matches with a notable margin has placed them last on the points table with a net run rate of -0.998.

One of the reasons for the Kings not being able to clutch triumph is the unavailability of their key players. However, good news pop up as Chris Jordan has arrived in Karachi and will join the squad after the completion of the mandatory isolation period. Moreover, Mohammad Amir has fully recovered from injury and is set to be Kings’ part on Friday’s encounter versus Peshawar Zalmi.

Amir suffered a hamstring injury that kept him away from the yet-battled matches. The appealing performer will be making sure to bounce back this PSL since he has not been able to bowl well after he announced his sudden retirement from international cricket in 2020.

Karachi Kings themselves have confirmed Amir’s availability in the next encounter.

The player only plucked five scalps from 11 games during PSL 6. He has been struggling with home wickets averaging just 36 since 2020.

It must be noted that reputed Pakistani sources mentioned Amir’s participation with great enthusiasm at the High-performance Center declaring him fit to grip the ball in the hand. Undoubtedly, his return is a relief for the Kings but it is yet to see if he will make difference for the sufferers.
