Will Pak vs Eng series have fans?

Cricket has always been thriving for the cheers of fans during the play. When it comes to the Asian fans, the enthusiasts have got another kind of level in supporting their respective teams. The crowded stadiums and the chants for their players boost up the contestants despite their downfall occurring anytime. However, since the COVID has struck the sporting camps, the devotees are no more allowed inside the stadiums preferring health first.

The fans are eager to get back to the stadium alongside the players missing them too. Team Pakistan has already arrived at the destination ahead of Pak vs Eng series. Today, in a virtual press conference arranged by the PCB, Mohammad Rizwan too spoke craving for the fans who have been missing from the grounds over a year ago.

As Pak vs Eng series is to initiate from 8th July, England’s grounds may witness over 15,000 spectators per day. There is now the official announcement regarding hosting the fans during the third ODI. However, there is no revelation regarding the rest of the series. Stuart Cain, chief executive at Edgbaston, said in a statement,

“It’s fantastic for sport in the West Midlands that so many cricket fans will be able to enjoy another blockbuster fixture in England versus Pakistan at Edgbaston,”

Notably, Pak vs Eng series composes of a three-match ODI series and as many T20Is. It is pertinent to mention here that 19,000 people aging over or 11 will be allowed during the third ODI contest. Unless they don’t show their COVID negative proof, they won’t be allowed to enter the Edgbaston ground.
