Pak vs Ind: In an exciting revelation reported by Indian media, Pakistan and India are set to face off on October 15 during the highly anticipated ICC World Cup 2023. The match, originally scheduled to be held at the grand Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, witnessed a twist as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) expressed concerns about playing in the world’s largest stadium.

While the venue for the Pakistan vs India encounter remains undisclosed at present, reports suggest that the Pakistani team will compete in matches held in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru, as per information shared by Indian media sources.

Kicking off on October 5 in Ahmedabad, the ICC World Cup 2023 will commence with a clash between defending champions England and the losing finalists, New Zealand. India will begin their campaign on October 8 in Chennai, going head-to-head with Australia, while Pakistan’s first match is slated against a qualifying team on October 13.

The grand finale of the tournament is scheduled for November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, and reports indicate that the PCB has confirmed their team’s participation in the World Cup, including their agreement to play the final in Ahmedabad if Pakistan qualifies.

With a total of 10 teams participating, including host India, Pakistan, England, Australia, South Africa, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and New Zealand, the mega event promises intense competition. Eight teams have secured direct qualification, while the remaining two slots will be determined through the qualifying round. Hosted by Zimbabwe, the qualifying round will feature teams such as West Indies, Sri Lanka, The Netherlands, Scotland, Oman, Nepal, USA, UAE, and Ireland, and is scheduled to take place in June of this year.

Cricket enthusiasts and fans from both countries eagerly await the clash between Pakistan and India, as the longstanding rivalry between these arch-rivals adds an extra level of excitement and anticipation to the prestigious ICC World Cup 2023.
