Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (Captain), Ajinkya Rahane (vice-captain), Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), R. Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav, Wriddhiman Saha

It is clearly visible that the BCCI has placed no leg spinner in the India WTC final squad vs New Zealand. As Axar and Washington fumble out, team India prevails with only Jadeja and Ashwin to offer off-spin deliveries. Both of the pulled out players were coming from a benevolent journies of yielding wickets but the experiences of Jadeja-Ashwin duo may have piped them out.

The Kohli-led crew has retained Wriddhiman Saha along with Rishabh Pant who is a preferred wicket-keeping pick after his conspicuous displays versus Australia and England. The contestants will be looking to stick with Gill and Rohit to give perilous hurdles to the Kane Williamson-led troops.
