WTC final: Did Travis Head scored because it was Babar's bat?

As the World Test Championship 2023 final (WTC final) commences, Australia are dominating India in every possible way. They kicked off batting wonderfully amassing 469 in their first inning. All thanks to Travis Head’s 163 and Steve Smith’s 121. Their partnership was indeed worrisome for the Indian bowlers as eventually, it became harder to get rid of these two batters, specifically Head.

Following Head’s splendid inning in the first inning, a video of Pakistani skipper Babar Azam, has been circulating on the internet which shows him gifting the bat to the Australian batter. It is the same bat Head used in the first inning of the WTC final to shock the masses with his cheerful inning.

Now, Babar’s fans can get enough to cheer for as they boast chants saying Head came up with a century with that bat because it was gifted by a batting masterclass to him. All we can see is plenty of videos from Babar’s fans crediting him to gift that bat to Head which he used to score a century and a half against their arch-rivals, India.

Discussing the match, Indian bowlers could bag all Australians on 469. Mohammed Siraj compiled four while Mohammad Shami and Shardul Thakur picked two apiece. Ravindra Jadeja settled for one while Mitchell Starc was subjected to a run-out.

While batting in their first inning, India are currently trailing by 206 at the time of writing and are six down. Ajinkya Rahane is doing every possible effort to keep India in the game, or else, it would become hard by the end for Rohit Sharma and co to come at the top.
