The famed female sports journalist, Zainab Abbas says she would not like to call herself a pioneer in her field and would love to see more ladies join the profession too. Visibly, she has been representing Pakistan as a cricket journalist with great professionalism. Although there have been other females in the niche, but Zainab has been winning hearts by doing wonders on the cricket field.
She has been the face of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Reaching the climax of her career, Zainab announced making her debut with Sky Sports last year alongside renowned global experts. She also became the first female journalist from Pakistan to present the ICC World Cup, getting an opportunity in the 2019 ODI World Cup.
Despite her wonderful achievements in the cricket world, she says she would not like to be called a frontiersperson but instead would wish well for the newcomers. Talking in an interview with Geo Super during the recent Pak vs WI series, she stated,

She started her career writing columns at different sites alongside conducting several interviews. From a small to an enterprise-scale, she is now giving an upper hand to the big platforms. It must be noted that she announced her disability to hear from one of the ears but never felt it as an obstacle in the mid.
