According to reliable reports, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has assured the pre-programmed matches will go as scheduled and the Taliban entrance will not have an adverse effect on the game. It is heard that the political group adores cricket.

As Afghanistan are cataloged to battle Pakistan in an ODI series in a few upcoming days, ACB has assured obstacle-less continuation of the series. One of the team’s officials added,

“Taliban love cricket and they are supporting their team. Our ODI series against Pakistan will go as per schedule in Sri Lanka. After two days’ gap due to the current situation in the country, the training camp of the national team will resume tomorrow,”

It should be noted that the nation will host the men in green in the first week of September for three 50-over encounters.
