Mohammad Amir is back in international cricket after a span of over three years. The left-arm fast bowler, who developed issues with the board’s management back then, took his international retirement back ahead of the Pakistan vs New Zealand five-match T20I series and is donning the green jersey once again.
The fans anticipated watching his fiery spells in the series opener, however, the rain spoiled the play. The second T20I is underway at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and Amir has bowled his first over since his return to international cricket.
Amir was given the fourth over and picked a wicket on the second ball removing Tim Robinson who could score four off four. Fans, witnessing Amir’s supremacy after a long gap, are excited as they celebrate their star’s return on social media.
Surprisingly, he picked another wicket in his second over removing Dean Foxcroft on 13 runs. Currently, he has just yielded eight runs from two overs and two wickets.

It should be noted that Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. New Zealand are currently four down on 50 in 8.3 overs at the time of writing.
