Shane Warnes terms Aleem Dar 'a bad umpire'

Former Australian spinner, Shane Warne has criticised Pakistan’s greatest, or it can be said, the world’s top-notched umpire, Aleem Dar, for poor umpiring.

Warne, calling Aleem a bad umpire, has rewind the memories from the Ashes 2013. On the Day third of the first Test at Trent Bridge, England’s tailender, Stuart Broad edged the spinner Ashton Agar in the second inning, but Aleem refused to give the batter out.

Taking it to twitter, Warne wrote it shows how bad umpire Aleem was.

You have to admire Stuart Broad for not walking here. Showed serious Kahunas hahaha. Also shows you how bad an umpire Aleem Dar was and how many decisions he got wrong !!!!!!!

It must be noted that Aleem belongs to the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires and have officiated the most number of international matches, 407, by any umpire.

Being one of the most successful umpire in cricket history, he also won the three consecutive awards between 2009 and 2011 for ICC Umpire of the year winning the David Shepherd Trophy.

Discussing Warne, the 52-years old had achieved blissful stats during his tenure. Representing Australia 145 Tests and 195 ODIs, the leggie had grabbed 708 and 293 wickets respectively in the formats averaging 25.4 and 25.7.
