Shahid Afridi terms current Pakistani players as chicken-hearted, says players should be brave to play internationally

Shahid Afridi “Misbah’s contribution to Pakistan is great but in terms of the players, let me say that playing cricket is not a job for chicken-hearted players. You may be the most talented player but you’ll not be able to play good cricket with the heart of a chicken” #Cricket

He also talked on the current management. Talking about Misbah and Waqar as a players, Afridi elaborated their achievements in cricket are notably and indirectly concluded that the coach duo has failed as the PCB management. He also has demanded to bring Shoaib Malik in the team.

Shahid Khan Afridi while speaking to media: Sirf Kuch matches ki performance par aap players ko le team mein le atay ho aise players apko 2 series k bad kahi nazar bi ni aeinge. Misbah bohat acha Cricketer hai but uski coaching mein players ki approach change karni paregi unhy daler banana parega, Yhi larky hain hmare pas

Translation: You bring the players in the team on behalf of a few of their performances and then those players disappear after playing two series. Misbah is good as a player but the approach of players needs to be diverse. No player can play being chicken-hearted. To play international matches, one should be courageous and brave enough to handle the pressure. We only have limited players and we should make them brave.
