Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik are said to have divorced, as the rumours circulating on social media. The couple tied the knot in 2010 and gave birth to a baby boy, Izhan Malik, in 2018. A more than decade-old love story is on the verge of coming to an end, building up differences among them.
It has also been heard that the couple has decided to co-parent their son. The reports state that while Malik is living in Pakistan, Sania, along with her son, is living separately in their UAE house. While many analyze the reason for their separation after giving thousands of cute memories to fans to relish, it has been found that the Pakistani actress is the biggest culprit behind it.
Malik’s interest in the industry is not hidden. He was noticed in a bold photoshoot with Ayesha, which could have been indigestible to Sania as a wife. The model-turned-actress, while responding if she has added fuel to the fire, says that she and Shoaib share no any relation than a good friend.
“Jee nahin. Bilkul nahin. Un kee shadi ho chuki hain aur wo apni biwi ke saath bahut khush hain (No, never… he is happily married to his wife). Mein dono @shoaibmalik aur @mirzasaniar ki bahut respect karti hoon (I respext both Shoaib and Sania). Shoaib aur mein ache dost aur ek dusare ke kherkhwa hain. Bahut respect karte hain. Aisey rishtein bhi hotay hain duniya mein logo ke. (Me and Shoaib are just good friends and we both respect each other).”
Fans have even noticed that she no more shares Malik’s photographs on her social media accounts and even shared a story saying ‘where do broken hearts go’.
The couple itself has not revealed any news officially. However, amidst the subject being viral on the internet, the two are no more together or will divorce soon. One of the local Facebook pages also analyzed Sania’s racism toward Shoaib, and her hurtful words on his appearance are the reasons behind Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik‘s split.
While Sania has been hinting toward their fight, Shoaib’s Instagram still says ‘husband to superwoman’. The reports as reported by GEO Super, the couple will divorce after solving legal complications.
“The couple is not addressing the rumours due to contracts signed with different shows and legal complications. It further added that Shoaib and Sania have “several contracts to complete.”
