Road Safety World Series T20 2021, full schedule, squads, match timings

Road Safety World Series T20

Road Safety World Series T20 2021, a new tournament where old and retired players will participate, has been announced for its schedule, timings and squads.

The Road Safety World Series T20 tournament was originally supposed to be held in its inaugural edition in early 2020. However, the global pandemic hit and the tournament was halt after hosting only four games.

Instead of starting freshly in 2021, the organizers have decided to resume the previous edition. The inaugural edition of the tournament underwent in March 2020, where 11 league matches were scheduled in Pune and Mumbai. Now newly-built Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur will host all the games.

There were changes in the teams, however. Four teams – India Legends, Sri Lanka Legends, South Africa Legends, and West Indies Legends – will resume action in 2021. England Legends and Bangladesh Legends will replace the Brett Lee-led Australia Legends, who are set to miss due to their inability to travel to India owing to the strict COVID-19 restrictions in Australia.
